carpe diem...summer: so far, so fun
All this talk of summer fun and final grades and being seniors is just a bit too much. I am counting on a fun and productive summer...but I dunno. Maybe it's just me that feels this way, but I'm not ready for all of it. I don't want to grow up yet.
I am pretty much doing ok right now. Not that there aren't a few things that I wish were different. But I guess I'm just hoping that time doesn't pass us all by too quickly. I mean, I'm already 17, licensed to drive, and now a senior in high school. I really don't think I'm ready.
Every year in my life I lose more and more close friends to the acquaintance-hood of college, I lose a little more of my childhood joy, and I gain a little more responsibility. wow.
Life really is too short.
