Ummm, so things are seeming to be better.
Now I just have to deal with this stupid cold weather. It has gotten really cold here. And that annoys me. I didn't realize that it was going to be getting this cold, so I really didn't bring too many cold weather clothes. I have just a few long sleeve shirts. Not nearly enough. I will be wearing the same things over and over again I think. I didn't bring hardly any sweatshirts or sweaters. I am regretting this now. No gloves. No jacket. My senora lent me gloves and a jacket though. Thank God. I love her. I don't know what I would do without her.
School is school. It is getting harder and harder to go to clasases every day. I hate classes. I am becoming a bad student. Everyday, I fight the urge to just skip. It really isn't like I have that much better stuff to be doing. I just don't want to be sitting in class. Thank God this week is Day of the Dead and we have a break. Tomorrow is the last day of classes for the week. Thursday, we have to get up at the crack of dawn so we can meet at 6 am to go to a city in the next state over for the Day of the Dead celebrations. Tomorrow night is the tradtions things with the school. We have to prepare something. We still haven't started it. I have no idea when we are going to do it. I think I hear Sam talking to one of the other girls in our group right now. It sounds like we are meeting at 4. Not really sure though. Yeah, she just came in and told me 4. So yay. I hate school work.
The other day I saw 2 liscence plates, one from California and the other from Florida. It was kinda random, but made me smile.
I met one of my neightbors randomly. He came up to me at the Mega and was like, "Do you live with the Senora Michelili?" I was like, "yeah." And he told me that he lived a little down the street and that he had seen me and stuff. I talked to him a few minutes. And he invited me to coffee, and we went and got coffee the next day. He is a pretty cool old guy. I mean he is not that old, he is probably in his 40s or something, and is from Spain. He used to be a painter, and now he is a writer. The best part, his last name is Paniagua. Yes, that is right, Bread and Water is his last name. Don Pablo Bread and Water. It made my day.
There is this old American guy who lives here too. And this guy is old. I have seen him in the streets before walking his little poodle. He is so nice and friendly. Well the other day, I found out where he lives and that he owns a little bed and breakfast, that is sooooo cute. He showed me around it. I loved it. I was truely amazed.
Hmm, other than that. Not too much has been happening recently. I am missing Halloween. And I really hate the fact that I missed my Grandma's birthday party. The whole family was there. I mean the whole family. And they gave her a trip to Greece. Our church is going on the missions of Paul, and my grandma was just dying to go, but didn't have the money. So my family is all chipping in to send her. And the party sounded just so wonderful. They didn't tell her right away, they gave her all these little gifts as hints that that was her real gift. They gave her books over Greece, and over Paul, and a Greek calander with the days of the trip marked off. But apparently, my grandma never caught on. She had to be coached right up to the end that she was going to get to go to Greece. I really wish I could have been there. Her actual birthday is tomorrow. Yeah, she was born on Halloween. She is such a witch. Oh well.
Hmmm, like I said, not too much to report. And well to tell you the truth, I really don't feel like writing, so that is going to be all for now. I am going to write my Grandma a birthday message and then go home and be lazy until I have to come back to work on this Day of the Dead project.
Much love. I miss you all.
