I'm back
Wow!
I didn't realize that its been 2 months since I've updated. Like I said in my post before, I've just been workin a lot. I'm still at CVS doin the whole pharmacy thing. I really like what I'm doin so I'm pushin for a raise. My review is in July so hopefully my pharmacist will bump me up to $8.00 (I'm at $7.21 right now)! I know it doesn't sound like a lot but it is to me.
Kelly and I found a place to live when our lease is up. We're movin into this apartment complex that is renovating their apartments into condos. Our condo (once it gets renovated) is gonna be so nice. Its probably gonna be as nice as the model, if not, nicer. I'm so excited. I wish we could just move out of this hell hole right now. So this is why I need this raise. We're gonna be payin' a lil more in rent than we are now but I think we'll be able to make it.
Kelly has been promoted to Assistant Manager at our store which is a really good thing for the both of us. We're not sure how much she's gonna be making as of yet, but it should be a really good raise from what she's makin' right now.
As I told you before, I was goin to Florida in mid May.....well come to find out one week before my cousin's wedding....the mother fucker calls it off. Something about how she gave him an ultimatum or something. I really don't know or care. Keep in mind that I had never met the guy before we went down there. But anyway, once we got down there, I kinda wish that I hadn't met him. Now don't get me wrong, he was really nice & he took me out and stuff but boy was he just stuck on himself. Everything revolved around his job, his looks and all that. He just seemed really.....fake. I guess that's the word to describe him. He was just too nice. So nice it really made me sick. At one point I just wanted to tell him to shut up. Nonetheless, I had fun.
So its only 5 more weeks til Kelly and I go to Myrtle Beach. It will be so nice to take a week off of work. Not having to deal w/insurance problems, bitchy customers & "1 pharmacy call", "1 drive-up call" will be nice too. Oh and not having to say "Thank you for calling CVS/Pharmacy this is Jennifer, how can I help you?" is gonna be nice too.
Anyway, I gotta go get my brother a Slurpee since he's sick :(
