Weekend
So just as planned, Kelly and I went up north for the weekend. We spent all (well most of it) of Saturday w/her friends Diana, Kevin (Diana's bf), Michelle and Josh. We had so much fun let me tell you. It took us about 2 1/2 hours to get to where we were goin. We left my house at about 2pm and then stopped at the party store to buy beer and Smirnoff Twisted for me :) and some pop to drink on the way. Then when we got to about Flint, we stopped and got Subway cuz we were starving.
We stayed in a city called East Tawas. Omg, this place was so beautiful. I wanna go back there next year. We walked around town, went to this Irish pub called Mulligan's. We had deep fried pickles. It sounds gross but they were good. Then at around 10pm, we went to this bar within walking distance called Crossroads. This bar was actually pretty cool except for the fact that there was this girl that was walkin around askin all the girls if they wanted to dance. She looked about 12, lol. Diana got pretty drunk and we were dancin like fools. It was hilarious. She kept tellin me "Jenni, do you realize people are staring at us?" I go "You know what Diana? I don't give a fuck. We're not from around here, lol"
So on our way home, they thought it would be funny to steal some plastic letters and numbers off a couple signs. Josh actually stole a whole phone # and Diana got the letters "H", "E" and "D". I actually took some pictures so as soon as I get them downloaded onto my computer, I'll post them.
On Sunday, we went to Tawas Bay and layed on the beach. BAD IDEA for me. My legs are sooooo burnt its not even funny. I am burnt from both my ankles to my butt cheeks. I am in so much pain. I didn't realize how burnt I was until Kelly and I got in the car to leave and at first I just thought it was cuz the seat was hot and it was rubbing up against my thighs but then we stopped at a rest area and Kelly goes "Wow Jenni, your legs are really burnt." So then not only were my legs burnt but my chest got a lil sun and right around my shoulder blades. I hate being this pale. It really sux especially cuz of the medication that I'm on. I can't be exposed to the sun for so long but do I listen? No, of course not.
So that was my vacation. It was awesome despite me getting burnt. I'm definitely goin back up there next year. Love ya guys!
