Oh, today should be a day marked in calanders across the world.
I live in a smallish town about thirty miles from Pittsburgh. Fifteen years ago, we had a Kmart, a Hills, a Giant Eagle, and a drive-in.
Now, we have a Kmart, Ollies, Big Lots, several fast food places, a Wal*Mart, a Lowes, blah blah blah. The small town I used to know and love is growing up to be a real bitch. We have three McDonald's, all within walking distance of the others.
Today, however, I rejoice in the industrialization. Because today, for the first time in three years... today, I get a Venti Chai Latte from Starbucks.
YES! Belle Vernon now has a Starbucks!
It actually opened a few days ago, I just totally didn't notice.
I love Starbucks. I love it like a crazy thing.
The last time I had Starbucks, it was when I lived in Centreville, VA... right before I moved, so January, 2003ish.
STARBUCKS, OH HOW I MISSED YOU.
Ahem. I'm done now. *g* I'm going to drink my yummy drink and die of happiness.
