hehe...this may get long...
So I just got back from Reno with Kris...that was fun...ish...
He reserved the room on line, but when we got there, they had not recieved the reservation. And we weren't the only ones. There was a whole lobby full of on line reservations that were not recieved. And the hotel was over booked. They started sending people to another hotel...but then that filled up too. So we were there for two hours while they tried to figure out where to put us. Finally, they decided to bite the bullet and they gave us a Jaccuzi room that was normally $500/night for the $80 price we were paying on the other "reserved" room. So that was cool. There was a bed and a couch...so I didn't sleep as comfortably as I thought I would...oh well. We showered, changed, and went out on the town...it was almost midnight before we got out there, but hey...
I learned to play Roulette, and tried to learn craps...and finally gave up and ended up playing video poker. I went in with $40, and came out with $46.50. So I was impressed. Not a great day at the casinos...but not a bad one either. Kris lost %60. LOL...dork.
Today we went to see my Grandparents. I miss them a lot. I really wish I lived closer, so that I could see them more often. Especially my grandfather. He's not doing too well anymore. I'm afraid I won't be able to do all the things I want to with him. He knows all the family history, and I haven't gotten a chance to document it all. And I just like hearing him talk. Okay...I'm gunna stop writing now, before I start crying.
