I had an awesome weekend. I went home to see my parents and I talked to my dad's cousin (or my aunt) about stuff and it was very encouraging. Then I went back to Gainesville and hung out with friends and talked with some people. I love talking. It helps you evaluate your situations more and you get to seek some guidance. That's one of the reasons why I love it here and I hope my parents will understand why I like staying here. It's because the more I'm here and the more time I spend with certain people here, I feel like I'm growing in character and I learn so much more about myself and life in general.
I talked to my parents last night and that wasn't so encouraging, and that's why I just said that last bit about hoping my parents will understand me. I'm just being an average teen, and I know it'll take time for them to accept the fact that their youngest child is growing up. I hope they'll never forget how much I love them and that I'm very happy with decisions that I've been making. I'm not sure if they're upset because I'm becoming more independent and they still want to be able to make decisions for me or if they're upset at me for changing beliefs, but I have hope and faith that things will work out. This Saturday I will be going home to Deland again and I'll be back in Gainesville on Sunday. We will be celebrating my parents' anniversary which is really next Tuesday. I hope that we can really connect and spend time understanding one another more and also be able to have fun and show that we all love each other.

Side note, I know God is definitely trying me, but it's ok. I know that I'm experiencing growth in these experiences. And I love all my friends because you all help me stay strong and you all make me smile. Thanks for being there for me and supporting me and encouraging me.

Something tells me it's going to take patience
Something tells me that this will all work out in the end"
