Hawaii with Alik was wonderful....we ate with the locals, walked along the beach, drank lots, hiked in the rain forest and learned to surf.  It looks like he will need surgery to repair his knee.  And our last day there, our rental car was broken in to, my wooby (backpack) was stolen which had my bc pills, wallet, VISA, license, digital camera with tons of pictures of the men I adore on it (Matt and Alik), cell phone, and a few things that are sentimental and essental to me, like my day planner.  I'm angry, of course, but thankful that that's all the happened.  Save for the last 48 hours, we had an incredible time.

I am happy to be home with the people I love.  And if you can, can you please send your contact info to my gmail account, seeing as the two places where I have that stuff are more than likely in a Hawaiian landfill.
