happy rant on anime/manga.
In this post I will basically talk about my LOVE FOR ANIME/MANGA! :DDDD
Basically, my first contact with manga was some very shoujo-ey manga my older sister brought home one day that I went to read. And it was nice. :D But I don't know what the title is now, because that was ages ago, and my sister only lent the volumes of manga, not bought. So yeah.
Then about 5 years later, after our exams, my teacher showed us Liar Game, the TV show. And I loved it so so so much that I went home and finished watching it, and watched the movie as well, and started on the manga, and I loved the manga so much that well, now I stalk Shinobu Kaitani (the mangaka for Liar Game) on Twitter. Liar Game is actually not really that well known, but I was really surprised to see that it was 46th on the MangaFox popularity chart, and that's saying a lot.
Lastly, this year, I'm in a new school. An arts school. And new school means new friends. And the people I hung out with all happened to be anime freaks. There were 3 of them. All of them are in the Visual Arts cohort, and 2 of them admitted in through drawing anime. That's how good they are. Anyway so they all influenced me, and even though I said I'd never watch anime, I ended up starting with Katekyo Hitman Reborn. Then I finished the anime AND manga, and I loved it, and then there's also D.Gray-Man, Hetalia, Utapri. And my friends want me to read 07-Ghost. So well.
My own ranking for anime/manga for those that I know:
1) LIAR GAME! (okay, so I'm biased.)
2) KHR :D
3) D.Gray-Man :)
4) Utapri!
5) Hetalia~
But really, I like all of them a lot, so even those at the bottom of my chart is still awesome.
I will continue this rant some other time. Maybe. But just know that now I love anime/manga! :D
