So I was reading this great ar... ooooh, a QUARTER!

I was reading the Atlantic Monthly article Is Google Making Us Stupider* last night. A page or two into it, I found myself distracted by thoughts of what John was making for dinner. And whether or not I washed the placemats. And when the first Brownie meeting was.

Oh, the irony.

*The article laments how the 'net is making us less able to focus on long pieces of text for any length of time - we expect short and quick little bites and are then primed to move onto the next thought. And it's totally true. I'm not sure it's necessarily a BAD thing, though - maybe just a paradigm shift. We just have to realize it's a different way of thinking and not always assign value (good/bad) to it.
