BACC Rotation 4: Shaw
Betsy Shaw's rotation was a pretty easy one. Her dance club business was the first to reach Level 10 in the neighborhood last rotation, so business was not a focus. Since Betsy is a family sim, she was in 'find a husband' mode. While Betsy is not nearly as promiscuous as Emma was, she still has more loves than anyone else in the neighborhood.
She decided on Shawn Mills, a townie she met at her club.
Shawn is a fellow family sim, and also kind of a hipster (like Betsy). They make a good match.
Shawn spun up a want to get engaged, but Betsy was slower. I sent them on a date to see if that would trigger her.
I sent them to the clothing store to purchase wedding outfits. I realized while there how awesome Lindsay is! She was restocking, making sales to other customers, and was fairly prompt in coming over to the register.
And then they headed down to the wedding/church lot for the ceremony. I can't figure out how to get my sims to throw a wedding party on a community lot, so the only witnesses were the people who showed up randomly.
The only other thing of note is that Shawn opened a business- a little hipster bar where he can host open mike nights and play chess. My favorite part- the first time I took him to the lot, he immediately and autonomously went up to the microphone to recite poetry. Yep, it's the perfect business for him!
