there cannot be a close second..
a few things that happened today:
- my fish committed suicide. i got home, and stared at the tank for a good, long 5 minutes trying to find that fish. then i looked everywhere i could think of around the tank, until i eventually was going to give up (really dreading the stench that would eventually result) when i found my poor dead fishie on the ground really far away from his tank. he must've jumped out, then flopped all the way across my desk and fallen to the ground. very sad, in deed.
- my third attempt to shoot my pictures for photography class = another failure. and this time, my teacher loaded the camera, so there must actually be something wrong with the camera. please pray that it is easily fixable because i dont want to deal with having to find another 35mm fancy camera, and i don't want to face my dad's wrath (even though i didnt break it, he will think that i did).
- i bid on a 1935 umhb yearbook (yes, it may make me a dork but i happen to loooove old yearbooks) on ebay and i had been winning for like.. 5 days. then at the last minute some mean person outbid me and i didnt have the chance to rebid before they won. this made me really, really sad (seriously). it was the year they changed the name to mary hardin-baylor. :(
i just realized how negative all of these things sound. but all in all, it really was an okay day. i made a new version of hamburger helper (italian cheesey shells) and nick made us some cinnamon strussel muffins, so it looks like things turned out alright after all. :)
