That Man Just Kills Me
On saturday night I got a text from Daleen telling me to come to this local bar here in town and originally I didn't want to because I was all set in my pjs being a bum but when she told me that Mr. Heartthrob was there I was like YES. So about a half hour later me and J show and HELLO high school central!! I couldn't believe how many people from high school was there. It was so weird. Anyway, I didn't really drink because their drinks sucked so no drunk dancing for me. I tried but couldn't pull it off. I left the bar feeling more disappointed than anything though because Mr. Heartthrob left with a girl thats also interested in him. *Sigh* I gotta knock that girl out of the water....somehow...
Anyway, I'm almost done with work when J calls me at my register and tells me that Mr. Heartthrob is in the store shopping with his fam. So once I get off of work, I say bye to J and like the big nerd that I am, because I wanted to see him and hoped he might talk to me, I went to 'look for lotion'. So I'm trying to stand there and pretend not to notice and out of the corner of my eye I see him down the aisle. He gets closer.....still closer....I can reach out and touch him but with two easy steps of those long, skinny legs of his can make, he walks right past me. Ouch. He was on his cell phone or he just didn't see me or he just doesn't give a crap. He gives me butterflies (which doesn't happen often) and makes me do stupid things like forget to give someone their change or I'll just stare into space, longingly......
