Chrissy and Amy and I volunteered at Bikes not Bombs the other day and it was really fun. We got to strip bikes, take all the parts off, and we met a lot of really nice people. I ran into one yesterday, or really, he can zooming up to me as I was locking my bike up, and I had one of those moments where I'm like, I THINK I met him at BNB but what if I met him somewhere else, oh god what do I say, so I was kind of accidently unintentionally rude, as my second impressions sometimes are. But oh well. Jeff and Mel and I took a ride out to Arlington that same night, going down bike trails that were completely dark. All I could see was Jeff's bike light, and I kept going almost like riding with my eyes closed. It was amazing. We collected lots of rasberries there. I finally put new toe clips on and today I'm going and getting a cross lever so I can put on my new handle bars and maybe finally get Raya's bike working. In other news I keep having recurring dreams of the wish fulfillment variety right before I wake up, and so every time I wake up I have to re-adjust to reality. Haha. two aspects of my life are crummy, but one is fantastic. And I can get by just fine on that.
