It's Like the Arctic...
So these past weeks have been somewhat hellish. I thought I'd be done with everything when I accomplished the Orchesis show, which was fun and bittersweet. But no... forgot that I had that Disney competition deadline coming up, thesis that always seems to have the pressure of process and critiques, and to complete a portfolio deemed worthy of showing potential employers in two weeks. I'm praying that everything will pull through alright.
Going home for a few days for grandma's 89th birthday. I'm looking forward to it, but there is so much to be done here. At the same time, I miss family and want to spend more time with them. I think it's contributing to how I feel presently: tired, cold, and sleepy. It doesn't help that I get 5 hours of sleep a night because of never-ending schoolwork. I haven't turned into a night owl yet... my early classes prevent me from doing so. It might happen next quarter though. Actually, now that I think about it, it's too cold to be up late. ha ha.
I need a nap and I constantly crave candy and hot liquids.
