Dear Friends Page,
This weekend has been pretty relaxing. On Saturday I worked at the airport which was a bit hectic because the fuel pump was having issues and I had to deal with that. But after I got off work Evan and I left Davis to drive down to his parents' house. We spent Saturday and Sunday nights there and then came home this afternoon. On Sunday (I guess that was yesterday) we went to an "antiques" fair near wherewhere Evan's parents live. The fair basically consists of a massive amount of vendors trying to get rid of a bunch of their old crap. And when I say crap I mean crap. Some stuff there is in decent condition but for the most part people seem to think that because their crap is old that people will want it. I guess they aren't exactly wrong because the fair tends to draw quite a large crowd. Evan and I each picked out some used children's books that we thought baby migtht eventually enjoy. We also found a parasol in a traash can whihch we used for the day and ended up giving to Evan's mom later. Once we got home we all took naps which turned out to be a bad idea for the most part but things would not have been happy if I had stayed awake. Today we went out to breakfast at a nice breakfast place where I ate a delicious waffle with fresh strawberries and whipped crea m on top. Later I went shopping with Evan's mom but I didn't buy anything while we were out. We then played a few games including Blokes Triton and Boggle. Then we had homemade pizza for an early dinner before we headed back to Davis. Traffic was essentially nonexistent on our trip back which surprised me. Even in the places where there is usually traffic there wasn't any. The traffic going the other direction was quite heavy over the whole distance though so I suppose everyone went up to the mountains for the holiday weekend. That was my exciting weekend. What I have to look forward to this weekend is kids with pink eye and more house cleaning while we (try to) prepare for baby. I hope everyone else had a decent weekend as well!
