I Can Has Progress?
Painted the bathroom doors and my loft on Sunday, thanks in no small part to the fact that I was permitted to consume caffeine unsupervised.
Monday I spackled and sanded the heckfire out of my bedroom and helped the contractor install the attic insulation (85% post-consumer content FTW!)
Yesterday I finished painting the bathroom. I'll probably be painting my room after work today, while the contractor installs wainscotting and chair rail and finishes tearing out whatever old sideboard is left up there.
Or I could work on my commissions. You know, so I can pay for all of this. ;P
In other news, the roof leak appears to be fixed....though the call-box is still busted so in order to receive visitors I must traverse several flights of stairs and get to the ground floor before they decide I'm not home, since no one thinks to ring my phone and make sure. D:
When all this construction is over, I shall rejoice. Until then, perhaps I will *finally* start on this year's veggie garden. Sure, it's raining, but I can set up sprout stations indoors.
