His true joy was being "DJ Tropik" and in his spare time he enjoyed working and repairing computers and video games, Scott always enjoyed a good conversation. Scott was the beloved son of Sandra and Jeff Bodenhamer of Virginia Beach, VA and Terry Ricks of Herndon, VA; loving brother of Kyle Ricks of Jersey City, NJ; stepbrother of Brooke Sylvester of Vero Beach, FL and Kerrie Miller of Ashburn, VA; grandson of Greta Smith of Wyomissing, PA and Pauline Ricks of Virginia Beach, VA. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 24 from 6 to 8 p.m. at ADAMS GREEN FUNERAL HOME, 721 Elden St., Herndon, VA, where funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 25 at 10 a.m. Interment will be held immediately following at Chestnut Grove Cemetery, Herndon, VA. The family suggests that memorial contributions may be made to a charity of choice that works with depression and anxiety.
