This is what I spent my day doing...
Years ago a friend at uni (the first time round...which shows how long ago it was) got me a 'paint yout own piggy bank' for christmas....and he's been sat in the cellar all naked since as I had no idea what to paint on him. (I sneaked out of the 'paint your own cup' by getting all my uni mates to paint something on it) but I finally decided what to paint on him....and after eightish hours here is the final result...minus to baking to seal the paint.
I know the lines aren't very straight and the writing is messy but...painting in a pig turns out to be quite difficult...especially when holding him upside down...^^
Meet Lord Monty Pigglepuff the Seventh.
darktwinkle named him....and I think it fits quite well.
(Sorry the photos are so big...I forgot to make them smaller...and yes he is the messy kitchen...not very Lord like of him)
For those interested there are more pics of Lord Monty under the cut...including Badgers ^^
So I am quite pleased with the Badgers (there is one on each side)...I did have to print a picture off and do the good old scribble on the back with pencil and draw over it to print on a new surface thing....so not free hand...but all those who have seen my attempts at being artisitic *cough* stick men *cough* agree if I didnt do that the poor pig would just be filled with unproportioned stick men...in capes ^^
And this is the top...bit spiral at the back is his curly tail...after all pigs do need curly tails ^^ and the writing at the top is what the sorting hat says about Hufflepuff house (in case you haven't realisd he is a Hufflepuff pig...hence the Pigglepuff ^^ ) And it just says 'Patient True and Unafraid of toil.' (The full thing is Those patient Hufflepuffs are true and unafraid of toil...or so Pottermore says...but that was all too big to fit on.)
So that is Lord Monty Pigglepuff the Seventh. Took me a while...and lots of questions of possibilities with
