Skye got engaged last week. The proposal probably wasn't what I would be looking for, but she seemed really pumped about it. He did something really sweet, starting with her going to lunch with a friend, where her freind led her to this flower shop where he had flowers waiting for her, which led her to the studio, which led her to a park, where there was a plaque on a tree, and he came out (was supposively in st. louis) and surprised her with the proposal.
MY PERFECT PROPOSAL
A complete surprise. I don't want to have one of those discussions like "maybe we should get married" or something like that. I don't want it to be discussed at all beforehand.
Something romantic, but not gooshy. No poem or song writing needs to be going on. Just a neat situation, like overlooking a beautiful sunset on a beach, or a dark quiet restaurant with candles and soft music, or skydiving.
Creativity is key. I'm not saying the usual ring brought out with dessert thing, but something truely unique and fun. Even having it written out on the scoreboard of a cubs game is cool.
I dunno. why am I even thinking about it if I don't even have anything close to a boyfriend. Just future reference I guess. When your friends start getting engaged, it just kinda floats into your mind.
