It's our Maniversary

I had the last two nights off, so I should be well rested. Or not.
While I did basically nothing on Tuesday night, last night was a different story. As I was leaving work, Roxanna called me. She had gone to see a movie at the IMAX so she and Ron were at Charlie's having a drink and told me to stop by. I get there and Ron immediately gets me a shot of Jameson. At 5:05pm on a Wednesday about 20 yards from my place of employment. Oye. That was followed closely by another shot of Jameson and a beer. Then they tell me I should come hang out with them at their apartment. IN BRONZEVILLE. I agree and Ron and Roxanna decide this is a great time for me to meet their friend The Actor that they've been trying to fix me up with for months now. So they call him and tell him to come over. Set ups are so awkward, especially when you're told for months that you guys would make a great pair and you're not quite sure what was said to the other person in preparation. Well, he's cute and hilarious and adorably plays with the kids, but we didn't seem to really hit it off that much. This could be because I'm used to guys trying to shove their tongues down my throat within the first few hours of meeting and he didn't do that, but we'll see. He drove me all the way home at midnight from Bronzeville (he lives in WP), which was nice though. Who knows. We'll see what (if anything) happens.
Oh, and I saw Obama's house last night! There were cop cars like whoa all over the place. Weird.
