Spring Loves <3

Spring has definitely been here the past few days! It makes me happy! Every year I forget just how much I love spring! The sunny warm weather, birds, and even the mud puddles from all the melting snow!

I've been out running the past two days! YAY for me!! I'm also not as sore from Karate class today which is nice. I really am liking that class more and more. At first I was kind of hesitant... it's a little out of the comfort zone, and it the moves definitely take a lot of coordination (which we all know I have little of!!) But it really is a lot of fun!

I had the second interview at Bankers Life on Friday. I got offered a position but decided not to take it. First of all its 50-60 hours a week. I don't mind working a lot, but not that much with something I don't have any interest in at all. Also when I was at the first interview John said that they don't do the whole telemarketing thing... well they really do. While I was waiting for my interview Friday I heard some one on the phone.. .it is definitely telemarketing. They just make sure to target their demographic. I'm not for that at all. And Tuesday are sent 11 hours in the office doing just that! On top of all of that I would have to get licensed which would have cost me $150. I'm not for putting money into something I don't plan on doing very long.

At this point I know I can get my office job back at Harbor Cove for the summer and then I am just planning on getting another summer job. I figure I've gone 3 months with out a job another few weeks isn't that big of a deal.

I contacted the Health Department this weekend about volunteering. They have a new program they are starting up in Pelston. It is a child and adolecent health center in the high school. They have a grant that starts April 1st for the planning phase. I am really excited about it! And it will be a great chance to make connections with both the local health department and the Michigan department of community health!!

Well I suppose it is time to find some clothes and some food!
