More Happy Dances!

Today has been an all around awesome day. First of all it was in the 50's!!! Me and mom went into town for our weekly Tuesday lunch. Roast and Toast YUUUMM! I was looking around the place today and realize that coffee shop attracts all sorts of different people in there. There were a few older people, the usual hippy type and a few professionals in on their lunch break. It was just kind of interesting because you wouldn't expect to see such a variety of people in one place.

Anyways on to the real reasons for happy dances. When we got home there was a big envelope in the mail... I thought it was my diploma. Nope... it was my CHES certification (big test I took back in October)! There were 150 questions... passing was a 94 and I got a 120!! WAAAAAY exciting! Especially seeing how there were a lot of questions that were guesses and I didn't think it went all that well.

About an hour later I got even better news..... I've got an interview! It's for the supplemental nutrition education position at the MSU extension office that I wrote about last time. The only thing that kind of sucks is that it isn't until next week...which means a week of freaking out and being nervous! So keep praying and keep your fingers crossed for me!!!

The trip to Marquette was awesome! Thursday night me Sara and Nikki went out. Lots of fun as usual. It was a bit odd not being out with either De or Suzi though. We did do Karoke at Flannies... Journey's Don't Stop Believing!! Friday night I got to see Trisha and Ali! I haven't seen them in seriously almost a year. We laughed over old times while playing catchphrase! Then me Sara Doug and Maria went sledding! We were seriously out for a few hours! Saturday we went ice skating. I learned how to stop!!! YAY that's one thing crossed of the 101 list!!! We also went to see "He's just not that into you". It was cute but not as funny as I had expected. Maria and I went out that night with some of her friends. It ended up not being that fun so we left a little after 1. It is really weird being in Marquette and not having my own place to stay. I think that will always be a little weird to me. It was so awesome to see everyone! It really reminded me that I do have some great friends. Even though I might not keep in contact with them all that well but that doesn't really say anything about our friendships. They are still just as important to mean and will still be there for me!

This weekend is Frostbite. My church's winter retreat. It will be a crazy long weekend but should be fun too. Then next weekend is the start of a new class for high school girls that I will be helping with as well.

My mom is slowly getting better. She has been out of the house a lot the past few days. Friday and yesterday two of her friends took her out, and they are taking her out again on Thursday. So that is just even more happy news!

I suppose that's all I've got. Off to work on my scrap book some more!
