Slight dissapointment
So I told my parents about the job to night. They were less then thrilled about the idea of me moving out to VA. I knew my mom would not be too happy about me being so far away. But I thought my dad would be a little more supportive. Nope... he just went into this whole thing about Richmond being the capital, this big city, up in the mountains and just not that great of an area. Well that was 30ish years ago when he was out there! Besides this job is pretty much exactly what I want to be doing. And I actually meet most of the qualifications for the job unlike a lot of the other ones I have found!! Suzi is doing some research on the forum for me and I'm going to talk to Heather some more. It's not like this is a definite thing, of course I'm going to do the research first. My parents keep talking like I will be back home though. That's they expect to happen. I've tried to tell them that it's not likely. They don't listen though. And it's not like it's an easy thing to try and tell them. I know my dad especially will come around. I just need to show them that this isn't something I am just jumping into, but that I am being a responsible adult and really looking into this and making an informed decision and that it will be the best decision for me.
Ok well enough of that. Off to do some productive things and take a nap before work.
