Some Changes...
So yesterday I had my "interview" at the Limited, if you can even call it that. The dude (yes, I have a dude manager), was basically just like "ok, read and sign these papers, and oh yeah, why don't you clock in so you can get paid for it." He said he called the store in Colorado and my manager apparently said such good things that he didn't feel the need to give me a formal interview. Sweet. AND the best part, I got a 50 cent raise! He was like "this is L.A." Yes it is!!! I was really happy about that.
I also dropped my Children's Literature class, on the account that my teacher is deaf but hears strange voices (literally, he told us this the first day of class), and the fact that we're supposed to have 40 units to take upper division courses. I said screw it, dropped the dumb class, and decided to take Arts Appreciation with John. We have to go like 6 different art things during the year--plays, museums, etc, and write papers about them. I figured it would be kind of my blow-off/fun class.
I'm soooo excited about this weekend!!! I love labor day and no homework!
