Back from Blighty....
Back home after a break in London with daughter. We walked, shopped and ate our way around town. Favourite eating place this time was Yo Sushi at Paddington station.
New World restaurant in Chinatown was interesting, but it would have been good to have someone more experienced with us so as to avoid some of the pitfalls of mis-ordering.
Weather cold but dry, thankfully. No flowers out yet in Hyde Park, but we did see a squirrel or two.
Daughter vetoed all suggestions for "cultural" activities this time. Couldn't even tempt her with "War Horse", drat it. She did show a spark of interest for "Wallace and Gromit" the Musical, but it wasn't running yet.
But it was nice to spend time with her, we needed it, after a tempestuous autumn and winter.
Discovered that nowadays you can buy "a glass of wine"...
