LONG ASS DAY
Holy crap, today was a LONG ASS DAY (as per entry title). I may even go so far as to say that this was the longest day of my life.
Why?
Because I worked for 10.75 hours.
And included in that was getting ready for Open House, doing Open House, giving two admissions sessions, singing with Chamber Singers, acting as photographer, problem solver, host, sole cleaner-upper, etc and you name it. And honestly, it went really really well, even with the less than ideal weather. And now I have a hell of a lot of thank-you cards to write.
And then, after that, I performed in my friend's doctoral choral conducting recital. (Which was awesome, BTW).
Plus, I still have that fucking headache.
So anyway, join with me now in proclaiming today a LONG ASS DAY and in hoping that I will not have another one like it for a long long time. Even though it really was a good day. Minus the headache.
