FINALLY got around to watching some of the stuff I have DVRed.  It's impossible for me to watch TV when the kids are around.  If I want to actually hear and understand what's going on anyway.  I have some kind of hearing issue... the way I process sound is screwed up.  Totally undiagnosed of course but it's obvious to me that I don't hear like " ( Read more... )

I never watch anything when it's on either - I guess that's the curse of parenthood. :)

I have had mixed feelings about Warehouse 13 since it began. I have never liked Artie, and Myka always left me kind of flat. I liked Pete and Claudia but that's about it. I really, really enjoyed the new guy and found myself enjoying the premiere for this season so much more than I thought I would. I'm even liking the Pete/Myka stuff now since it was good to actually see her fears spelled out and why he was so upset about why she left. I'm hopeful that this means the show is going to stay good and maybe even get better. I was thinking seriously of dropping it after last season.

I have loved Eureka since day one but this season is definitely leaving me feeling like there needs to be more. The premiere was, honestly, boring. The second ep was better - funny if you appreciate 80's references anyway. I'm hopeful it will improve too. I know they can still keep up the quality of the show even though the two romantic leads are together but I'm a little worried they might do it badly.

I love Pete and Claudia, too. And I liked HG Wells. She added interest to the show. I've basically liked all the supporting cast they brought in more than the main characters. Pete just cracks me up, though. He reminds me of friends I had growing up.

Aaron Ashmore (that plays Jinks) is billed only as a guest star in the credits. I hope they keep him around a long time, though. I'd hate for him to only stay a couple episodes. That would make me sad. They could turn the show into more of an ensemble cast instead if it mostly being about Pete and Myka (as it started out).

This show always reminds me of Fringe for some reason with all the really bizarre things that happen to them and the way they play off each other. Just more lighthearted and funnier.

Still haven't gotten to watch Eureka. Sigh.
