So. My cousin is getting married at the end of this mounth. So I am helping to plan a shower - any ideas? along with my cousin Jason's gf Mandy who we have never met before - and won't meet until midnight the night before the shower.
Finally. FINALLY, they registered for the wedding. I mean, this finally is well deserved - they are getting married in two weeks. *sigh* See rant RW2 - the rant about registering for weddings at Target, and asking for a bundt pan, for those who haven't heard it. So, they registered at Kohl's. That is a bit of a step above Target, yes. But, dear god. No. Macy's. TIFFANIES!!! *sigh* Register for china. About the only time that sensible people will aquire a $100 service for one of plates. But did they? No. They registered for 2 - See that again - TWO - GERANIUM STRIPE BATH TOWELS for $6 each.
The average wedding gift is $50-100 dollars. The reason for this is because you are only supposed to get married once in your life. And so people spoil you, and/or give gifts for a lifetime. You don't get married in a quickie civil union on Saturday, working up til Friday and going back to work on Monday.
I hate the world.
