So it has probably been forever since I updated, but ya know you do what you can. Summer was ok I mean nothing too exciting. I lived at Chris's parent's house in Birch Bay and that was good. I worked at my interesting metal shop job then a few random jobs to help fill the pockets. I went to Idaho to visit relatives that it had been too long. I rode 4 wheelers there and visited in general. I met my 4 and 3 year old cousins for the first time and that was awesome. I also met my second cousin and that was interesting. I came back in time to hang out with Chris, Julie and Landon before moving into the residence halls for RA training. I had lots of crab and go my butt kicked at Settlers. Right after labor day I moved into the halls to begin training. I live in Higginson on the 3rd floor and it is going to be an awesome year I hope. I have been sticking little adhesive foamie letters on my door decs for the last hour or so and that was so mind numbing that I had to be done for the night. We got to go to camp this past weekend and that was cool stuff. I wish we had more time to explore the camp in daylight but our days were pretty full. The food was good for camp food and the beds cozy. Now we are back and only one week until we are flooded with everyone moving in. My staff is awesome and I think we are going to pull out a great year. I am having trouble putting stuff up on my walls and getting it to stay so any input would be awesome. So that is about it. To sum it up Summer eh not too exciting but I also wasn't bored out of my mind most times. RAness so far, tiring but also exciting.
I am super excited for my practicum because that means that I will be spending one full day a week in the Mt. Baker school districts in a classroom. It is going to be a great experience. I am kinda worried about stressing out with just overwhelmingness of RA and school stuff, but if I plan it out and be careful to take time for myself then I think I might just stay sane. Well I can't wait to see Chris again even though its been less than a week and I can't wait for school to start and residents to arrive and well there is just a lot of anticipation for the coming weeks and months. Well I think it is time for some fun and bed time... :)
