Some days are harder than others.
Some days everything in your classroom is destroyed.
Order goes to chaos.
Chaos goes to order,
as everything is picked up,
put back like nothing ever happened.
But things are never restored to the
exact way they were.
Something is missing,
misplaced.
displaced.
Pencils are in the marker holder- original works of art,
ruined by the shatter of a glass filled with water.
The Harris School is the only place where water fuels a fire instead of overpowering it.
All the kids huddle in the hallway, one on top of the other,
watching their classmate's Rage (With a capital R),
take over and exercize the classroom of all organization and order.
"Out! Out! Evil boundaries! Vile Role Definition and Sense of Self!
Go back to the Hell from which you came!".
Oh, I get it now.
The shattered glass must have contained the traditional
Holy Water to wrap up the process. Hmmm.
Some days are harder than others.
(But only for them.)
