A blog post in which I ramble about roleplaying established characters and the awesomeness of being Cpt Jack Harkness: http://wp.me/pp6oN-1H9

Is it any different to the "love inn" I've been reading about on Twitter?

;-)

J: *cries* I dont' want Sil to be there! And if I'm playing an oldWho companion I want to be Ace!
J: except really I just want to keep on playing Jack. Lucky my Reverie character is based on him XD
M: *Sil wiggles slimy tongue at Jack*
J: oooh tough, would Jack go there? The answer is no. No. he Wouldn't. XD
P: *disbelieve* Somewhere Jack wouldn't go?? Unlikely!
M: (link) ayup.
G: In fact, Jenni: yr 1st comment when you saw Sil was a saucy jest about his front facing tail #veryjack
J: All right fine. Jack would fully go there, but he'd have a drink first and possibly not brag after
J: and to be fair, Steve, my remark was prompted by you ;p

That "Love Inn". Or "Love In". You know, like a mutual appreciation society.

Just taking the piss out of the fact that you guys hijacked my twitter-stream with your Who RPG related discussion. Come on, you're getting in the way of my snarky Alan Tudyk and funny Nathan Fillion tweets!

Besides, where are my tweets from you about T-shirts you want! That's what I subscribed to, damn it! ;-)

Ok, yes, that makes sense. I think the way you put it in quote marks actually threw me off a bit, for some reason. My brain is dopey today...

And I'm sorry for distracting you from Alan Tudyk. I won't do it again.

Yeah, how dare you ;-). I could have been reading about how his dog pooped a cheese wheel or something...

Glad to hear you are having good roleplaying shenanigans.

Oh yeah.

I wasn't sure if it was "Love Inn" or "Love In". I'd heard the phrase in conversation before, but wasn't sure of the spelling. I thought it might be "Love In" like "Sit In" (e.g. we're having a sit in at the library).

But my brain as of yesterday decided to go with "Love Inn". Which sounds kind of like a house of ill repute in hindsight. I was not implying your twitter conversation was like an online house of ill repute. More that you were all very much in love with the game you had played.

Given that Captain Jack did in fact go into a whorehouse and pay a "lady" there, it's not an inappropriate parallel XD
