The traveller returns!

I'm back!! Man it was a crazy and awesome 2 weeks.

I fell in love with Boston. The city is great. It's like NY but more sky which is awesome. I didn't get to see the touristy stuff really because the point of the trip was to pack Laura up, but after hours there was great intoxication and I met some awesome BU (and a couple BC) people. Adventures included getting crunk in the dorm, kareoke with intoxicated middle-aged women, and beer pong at chi phi. Let me tell you, those guys were cool (ok so creepy guy wasn't, hence the creepy, but everyone else was) and were the among the best beer pong players I have ever met. Definitely giving Hans and Kent a run for the money. PLUS they play 10-cup. Standard. I was amazed, but definitely represented ECU well on the table. I really like the girls on Laura's floor, too. Erica is cool and will be an aweswome roommate. I told her if she comes to NC she is allowed to stay in my room at the Robertsons. We had some fun times going to the glitteriest store ever, riding in an INSANE GHETTOH-FABULOUS VAN TAXI. Plus, Dirty Dorthy was born. I look forward to visiting again next year.

The farm was, as always, stellar. Major chillage. With cows. The sad part was that of the 11 people that were originally supposed to be there, 5 came. Nick and Harshad didn't schedule enough time into thier trip to DC, Sara mysteriously backed out without actually telling anyone besides James, James couldn't afford gas split 2 ways instead of 3, Kevin's parents wouldn't let him come because he didn't get a job, and Kyle needed Kevin as a ride. Doug only came because he came with Mr. Robertson when he found out everyone else had bailed. It was pretty lame of them. But we had an awesome time. It's beautiful in the mountains. I explored the river with Doug and we got to look around all the cool stuff in Unle John's museum. Good times.

And of course there was quality time with Gram and George in Virginia. We ripped up carpet which was suprisingly fun. Woo!

So now I'm back in Cary, ready to embrace the summer. C'mon summer!!! I need to get a job or three since Ms. Covak completely fell through after promising me a job. Right now I'm looking at Manhatten Bagel, Rudinos, some sort of DayCare place, or hotessing somewhere. Maybe a grocery store. Maybe all of them. The one thing I'm trying to avoid is waitstaff. I really wasn't into the whole waiting tables thing. I'm too ADD. Although I'm not sure that's someting I'll tell them when I apply to work DayCare....

I'm also hoping that this summer might include some fun beyond work. *crosses fingers*
