(no subject)
Sorry it's been so long since I updated! Dustin and I decided to get married in December! That way I will be finished with school. I can't wait!!!! I'll let everyone know exact dates later cause we are thinking the 16th, but stuff happens (like saving enough money!!!), so it may be later than that. I miss him so much through the week, but when you love each other then you make it work! I see him every weekend though!
Shew, today we practiced intebating! Yikes! It's so scary cause if you don't watch you'll break out the front teeth or bust the lips of your patient or you'll miss the vocal cords and intebate the stomach! I couldn't get it the first time because I'm so weak in my left arm (because I've broke it so many times) and couldn't hold the laryngescope up right, but I stayed after class and practiced until I got it right. I wasn't going to give up that easy! Then I went back like an hour ago and practiced some more! I'm determined! It ticks me off if I fail at something like that! I want to be a good therapist, but I just dread the day that I have to intebate a real person. A dummy with fake teeth is one thing but a real person, oh no! It'll get better with time, I know that, and today was the first we had tried to actually intebate. We've mostly just been talking and testing on it. I will succeed!
I don't know what to do for Valentine's Day yet! I bought Dustin this cute little stuffed gorilla and some candy, but that's it so far! I think we are both laying out that day so we can spend some time together.
