Ladedaaa
So.. I know some people don't get the point of a journal.. The point isn't "poor me, poor me" it's support. Sometimes, even when you're wrong, you need support. And it's not only support. Some of these people will tell you to "pull your head out of your ass" but at least they do it in a more delicate manner. It's just nice to have advice and support when you need it. And even if no one reads the journal, it's just nice to get it out.
As far as why this journal is public when I only wish my friends to read it? Is because a large chunk of my friends don't have LJ accounts, but still read. Dreamer was one (but he just got one!), Nathan, Matt, and a couple other friends who check up less regularly. Actually, I don't know if the above mentioned even read regularly or not. They used to at least!
There are people that I've met on here that are now my closest friends. I met Becki on here. She was considered my best friend for a while, before things started going haywire on both our ends. Hopefully we can get back to that status sometime! And of course my Ashypants. Who is, without a doubt, my closest female friend. Aside from Ben, she IS my closest friend. I know that might seem sad, but I feel like I can really trust her and tell her about anything. :)
Anyway, aside from my rant about my journal and the good things that come from it, I get to post about DISNEYLAND!
Disneyland was pretty cool. Ben and I woke up at like 6:00 AM Sunday and began our 12 hour drive to LA. We stopped a couple of times to get food, (California Pizza Kitchen!!! YUUMMM!!) and actually made it in 13 hours. That would never happen with my family.. it'd be more like 16 hours lol. I'm glad Ben and I travel well together, and he doesn't need to stop like every half hour for the bathroom :p
Anyway, so we got down there and then my doctor's office calls me to tell me I have strep throat. :( So I get my prescription filled at a rite aid down there.
As far as the trip itself went - other than being sick, it was wonderful! We were kinda lamers, needing sleep/rest more than everyone else, so it was hard to sleep at night. We went to bed at like 10 and 11, and everyone else stayed up later chatting, watching TV, playing games and stuff. I feel bad that I missed out on it all. :( Ben and I ended up getting our own hotel the last night so we could sleeeeeppp <3
My favorite things about Disneyland were: World of Color, Tower of Terror, Ghost Galaxy and the gumbo. The general feeling was wonderful too. Everyone was so happy and friendly.. with the exception of one encounter that we had to witness. One man got mauled by a stroller and then got angry at the woman pushing it. Then it got out of hand. Other than that, everyone was happy and wonderful.
Friday was kinda crazy.. we got a glimpse of what Disneyland is like in the summer. Do not want! :p
I can't wait to go back! And not be sick this time so I can hang out with friends more! Lol. Got some rad pictures of Ben and I as Cinderella/Prince Charming and Peter Pan/Tinkerbell. Hopefully they will be up on Facebook soon!
