February 4, 2009: Wednesday 3 p.m. - 4 p.m. In downtown Galveston, inside a Bank of America resides a displaced gender therapist from a local hurricane devastated hospital. I saw this on myspace first, I was surprised thinking you didn't post here, anyway here it is again:

I think I almost chare as much disappointment in this as you. I loved seeing the excitement on your face when you told me you were finally getting to do this. I loved the excitement in your voice when you told me you had an appointment. I was sad to hear there was no excitement from your first visit.

I think this therapist has only dealt with black and white cases. I see you as an indigo child, and you break every mold society has tried to place around you. I suspect you have done the same in the transgendered setting as well.

I wish this had been more positive for you. And I do hope you find one you like. But please consider Ana and the Bird. Perhaps, you are here to change him in the process. Perhaps you are the one to enlighten him on the not so black and white cases. If he is as experienced and educated in this field as you say, then he will need to evolve and help the other like you.

If you do go back, I think you should be completely honest with him. Let him know about any disappointment you feel about him or his methods. Don't let him squash you. You are paying him to do that, you are paying him to help you evolve and grow. Make him earn it. Borrow my strength if you need it, it's always here for you.

No matter what your choice, to see him again or move on, do not let them tell you what to be. You have made the choice, not them, so back up your choice and have faith in yourself. Otherwise, I might have to shave my head again and kick some asses.
