pictures, pictures, pictures!!
I know, I know, it's been a while since I updated. The month of April has kept us busy. Here are just a few highlights:
*April 7* Tornado storm outbreak in Middle TN. There were over 48 tornadoes that day. Definately was not a fun day.
*April 10* Appointment at Vanderbilt University Genetics Center for Jameson. The genetics counselor & doctor decided that Jameson's deafness, indeed, is genetic. They also came up with the idea that Jameson has a deafness gene from both of us. My cousin has the 35delG mutation of the Connexin 26 gene, so they will be testing Jameson for the Connexin 26 gene. Based upon what they find, they may or may not test us. Results will be known in August (I know, ridiculous how long of a wait it is!)
*April 13-16* The three of us spent the Easter weekend in North Carolina at my parents pad. I finally got to see my parents new house, which they have been in since October! It was great to get a break and spend some time with the fam. Jameson did well on the road, and we only stopped once to feed/change him in the entire six hour drive. On the way back, the AC broke, so now we have two cars with no AC. Just our luck with 90 degree Tennessee weather coming up...

the sky kept getting darker and darker
this whole area is under a roof, but that didn't prevent the rain & wind from finding its way in
the ground was totally white at one point, by the time i got out to take pix, this is what was left

leaves were ripped off the trees and splattered all over the building (and cars and whatnot)
thirty minutes before, this BP sign was clearly lit up, but after the tornadoes ripped through, the bulbs were shattered
and jameson slept through the whole thing. he was actually in the tub with me for when we were under warnings
