I am going to share with you all right now what an incredible nerd I am.
So, when the summaries for all the spn_J2_bigbang stories came out, I read them all. Then I read them again and made a list of the ones I was MOST excited to read - not just the ones that sounded good, but that sounded AMAZING. There are 28 titles on my list. Now, whenever a story is posted, before reading the summary, I consult the list (that I carry around EVERYWHERE) and see if the story is on it. I'm up to number three. But it gets worse - I check them off when they're posted, and write a number next to them indicating the order in which they are posted. WHAT AM I DOING THIS FOR?
In some extremely geeky way, this is heightening the excitement and pleasure I get from new fic. The best part is, so many of the stories posted have been great, not just the ones on my list. I'm having my own little party over here! ...do you still respect me?
