WOW.
So yesterday was freaking warped tour. kasjfskjgfsl it was so amazing. McVay and I got there around 10ish so we werent exactly sure where to park our car so we followed a red suburban from Louisiana...yeah they didnt know where they were going either. We finally figured it out and we parked then we went to the line and McVay saw his friend so we stood with them. We were standing outside for a while until they opened the gates. While we were standing there I told McVay about this band called the Skeptics from Massachusetts that I had met at warped tour last summer, they were following warped trying to sell their new CD. So about 10 minutes later they walked by so I ran after them and I was all like "You're the Skeptics right?! I remember you from last summer." So I talked to them for a few minutes and I bought their new CD. That was cool. We got a bunch of fliers outside, of course. We got free Nicotine gum? Yeah McVay and I just gave it away. We got free energy drink that we had to throw away like right away. So when we got inside the first thing I saw was that Hawthorne Heights played at like 8:45....which sucked because it meant I had to stay there the whole time. So the first band we went and watched was MXPX but they were playing all their new stuff and I didnt know it so I was like whaaatever and we went to go get something to drink. Water was 3.50, soda was 3.75...not cool. So then we went and saw the Dropkick Murphys and that was cool and stuff. Then I went and got something to eat and another drink. Already 7.50 on drinks. Then we sat down for a bit then went to go see Emery and I wasnt feeling to greaaat. But they opened with my favorite song and they came out dressed all funny. Gosh I love them. And everyone who hasn't listened to them should go now because they roccck. So I was feeling like not good so I went in this really long line to get another drink. But apparently I was being mean or whatever so McVay left and when I asked him why he said I was being a bitch. Nice eh? So I was just like ookay whatever. Then I got to almost the front of the line and I started feeling really dizzy and McVay wasnt there to stand in line for me so I could go sit down so I had to leave after waiting in line for forever. whaaatever. So then I found McVay and we went and laid down for a while. Then we went over to My Chemical Romance not because I really wanted to see them but because Senses Fail was right after them and I wanted to get in the front for them. So right when MCR was over I went through all those people leaving MCR and I went to the front. I'm good at pushing my way through people so I got to the 2nd row, but I was in a window so I had the same view as the people in the first row did. So I stood there for about half an hour and then Senses Fail came on and started with Goodbye Steven of cooouuurse. Oh they were amazing. I love them. The singer came in front of my area like a gazillion times. So yeah that was that. I was wearing flipflops and I didnt lose them.I came out of the Senses Fail crowd with my swimsuit untied and my shorts stretched out? haha. So yeaaah then we laid down for a little bit more then went to see Hidden in Plain View and OMFG I was soo excited. I love them now more than eever! Like they played on the Volcom stage which is pretty small and the crowd wasnt very big so I was standing towards the back with McVay then when the first song was over I was like wooow I'm going to the front. So I pushed my way up there. They were missing their lead singer though because he was at a wedding so one of the guitarist who did backups did lead. It sounded the same. They played Minor Detail, Bleed for You, Ashes Ashes, Garden Statement, and Twenty Below. I wish they would've done more but eh they didnt do The Point. They're coming to JavaJazz on September 19 anyways with A Change of Pace and Halifax and Stuff ah it'll be amazing. I <3 ACOP. So yeah after HIPV I went and found McVay again and then we had an hour to kill before Hawthorne Heights so we were laying down and I was like "OMG MATCHBOOK ROMANCE" not because they were walking by me. I had almost forgotten that I meant to see them because I love them. So we went over to them and McVay wasnt feeling good so we sat down while we were watching them but then he started really feeling bad and I told him we could just leave. It was right before Hawthorne Heights came on and stuff but if I had been in his situation I know I wouldve wanted him to say we could leave. So eh. Then on our way out he felt a lot better so we turned around and watched Hawthorne Heights. They were good but I'd never been so far away from them before. The Crowd went crazy during Ohio is for Lovers. Sooo I ended up spending about $40 on drinks, and then $35 on merchandise. It was a good day but now McVay and I are sunburned. Especially McVay...poor kid:(
