Last Night's Doctor Who was "Silence in the Library/Forest of the Dead."

At the risk of inviting a lot of hate, I am very tired of River Song. I find her to be overly bombastic, turned into a self-cliche, and basically appeared far more often than she should have with that much OOMPH.

But Silence in the Library showed a character who was genuinely good. A companion we hadn't seen yet, smart, funny, knowing what had already come by her timeline. She's actually very awesome.

I know we were supposed to meet her "backwards in time" so her character development went "backwards," but sadly, I watched a good character get less and less mature, instead of more and more which is likely why I didn't like her in the end.
