It's Monday! Yay!
Yes - I just said Yay! for Monday. Deal with it. : )
I just spent a lovely lunch break catching up on my LJ reading. I stayed offline for most of the weekend. Madelyn and Jeff are on their way to Fort Worth right now to visit family during spring break. So I wanted as much Madelyn time as possible this weekend. Saturday was a dreary chilly day so Madelyn and I went shopping and visiting. She was very frustrated at the weather man who predicted sunny skies. We rented Madagascar 2 Saturday night. It was a cute movie. We had such a good time I completely forgot about going out to pick up my copy of Twilight. I went to bed at 10:30 but woke up around 3:30 am with a feeling that I had forgotten something. When I realized it was the just DVD party, I could relax and go back to sleep. Sunday turned into a gorgeous sunny day so Madelyn spent time outside with the neighbors. They were cute as they played in the sandbox and taught themselves tricks on the swing set. Madelyn and Emma were proud that they could get up and switch seats on the double seat swing while it was swinging. Then we had a mini marathon of "Suite Life On Deck" on Disney channel cuddled up on the couch. I watched Mamma Mia as I packed for their trip. Besides the fact that half that cast couldn't sing, I liked it. I haven't seen the play so I had no idea what to expect other than ABBA music. I'm glad I rented it.
I'm not entirely sure what to do with myself this week. I'll have lots of TV to distract myself tonight. Looking forward to watching Gilles, Melissa and Shawn dance. I'm also interested to see if Ty can keep up his improvement. I'd love to see him get really good and blow everyone away. I'm really anxious to watch TLC tonight . From the Jon & Kate Plus 8 previews, it looks like they're going to talk about all these separation rumors. And Little People, Big World is supposed to have some drama. I'm rooting for Amy - she needs to kick Matt's rear end for being a big selfish jerk. Yeah - I know - I'm way too involved. I'll also have my Sheldon and Barney fixes tonight. Yay! I'll have to take a sleeping pill to get to sleep. I don't like it when Madelyn isn't in the next room.
Oh! I get my new computer on Wednesday. Dell had a really good deal on a desktop and monitor. I got the monitor on Saturday which just sits on my desk teasing me. I also got scrapbooking software that I'm itching to play with. So that should get me through my last night without Madelyn. She'll be back on Thursday.
I guess that's all of my news. This week better go by faster than last week. Here's hoping...
