I'm going to write up my Twilight experience before I read eibbil_libbie and rainpuddle13 's posts. I'm pretty sure I'll have to come back and edit to express my agreement with them. Spoilers behind the cut so beware if you haven't seen the movie.

Thanks for posting, I was curious how folks enjoyed it. I have to say, I'm hopeful after reading how you like Jacob. He's one of my favorite (yes, team Jacob for me) but this actor is astoundingly different than what I'd pictured. I am really hoping that my initial impressions are false or it will really kill the love for me.... :))

All things considered, I thought the movie was well done. I got what I wanted out of it - mostly swooning at Edward and I got that and then some.

I was surprised at how utterly dead on perfect Charlie was. I &hearts him so hard right now. Billy too. Yaya for making the old folks cool.

I didn't see a HP trailer :(

Yay...Someone else who loved it!!! Jasper is my new obsession, he was so damn cute! And Carlisle...mmmmm. Jacob was exactly how I pictured him, and I cannot wait until he get his hair cut. The only problem that I had with the movie at all (and it's a small one), it was a bit too dramatically angsty. I was expecting the drama, but I honestly had to roll my eyes a couple of times. It's certainly not going to keep me from seeing it again.
