Gacked from chickadilly

1. Go to google and search your city or another meaningful to you spot in your state or country using the words *haunted* or *ghost*.
2. Pick one spooky ghost story and post it here and or onto your own LJ.

We have a couple of scary spots in Jonesboro.  One I have experienced personally and one I refuse to go to.

Here's the official stuff from the google search:

The Forum Theater, formerly The Strand, in Jonesboro, Arkansas is home to a ghost named Charlie. Charlie is said to wander The Strand Theater from attic to basement. Several people have claimed to see him and his clothes change from sighting to sighting. He is considered more mischievous than scary.
Now this is the theatre that I've performed in my entire life.  I've never seen Charlie but I've been down in the dressing rooms under the stage and thought I heard someone in there with me.  I've also felt like someone was watching over my shoulder when I've been doing someone's makeup.  So I wouldn't be surprised if that is true.

We also have Keller's Chapel in Jonesboro.  It's an old church with its own graveyard.  Apparently, one family a long time ago had 9 of their 14 kids die before the age of 2 and they're all buried out there.  Supposedly, you can hear a baby crying around the church.  I've also heard stories about screaming and other noises coming out of the church when it's closed for the night.  I've heard a story of a couple of girls who put their ears up to the door to listen and the doors burst open.  They felt this force trying to pull them into the church which they had to fight hard to pull against.  Then the doors slammed shut and they ran like hell.  Not sure if any of that is true because I'm not going anywhere near it just in case.  I'm a big chicken.
