My happy news
Hello all,
Yes I know it's been a VERY long time since I updated....the computer where I'm staying finds it very funny to be slow and kick me out of programs/messages only when I've just finished writing them, so I'm being patient tonight and trying to get this old beast to pound out a message for me.
It would seem that my happy news is making it out before I have a chance to tell people face to face, and of course I would prefer to tell face to face. But alas, it is a second helping once I'm given the opportunity, so I've decided informal characters on a computer will have to do. Hoping this will make it to the grapevine before an alternate source can deliver it.
1st great and happy news! I'm engaged! That came in early January - but I was to lazy to tell anyone as it begs the question ... when. I dunno yet and I'm not thinking about it for the time being; I have something else to do first...
2nd happy (amazing, glorious, exuberant) news!!!!!! October 25 (or there abouts) my son will make his entrance to the world!!!!!! As of tomorrow I'm officially 1/2 way through my pregnancy. John and I went for our 2nd ultrasound May 28/07 - and now can't wait till he's born (yes, it's definitely a he - and growing strong & healthy). I'm going to attempt to put the ultrasound photo's in here. They're digital images, so they look a little creepy, but he's so perfect ... I promise he's not trying to do the loser sign in the first one - he's just saying hi.
I'm already so in love and very happy.
I hope everyone else is as elated as I am (Lately I appear grumpy, but I'm really, really happy) Best of luck with all in summer fun!
