Happy Times!
Okay, so no one will really understand what I'm talking about here, but I'm super-happy because I've got a project nailed down. For the past... longer than I'd like to think... I've been kind of floating at work, doing little, and not generating any real results (think, trying to make an assay work, but not *real* science). Today I met with my bosses and we've worked out an actual project with expected results (ye gods, a hypothesis!), as well as a bunch of avenues I can chase down.
I feel a little bad, though, because the other graduate student in the lab was in the same position as me, and her project is much more high-risk (I personally wouldn't like doing it much at all).
But yeah, uber-happy. Let the fun work begin.
