im not sure why i think its cool to wait until the absolute dead last minute to study or write a paper. it always seems so hardcore, the idea of burning the midnight oil. then, at midnight, after your third cup of tea, the horror of your descision sets in. suddenly, you have pages and pages to write that must actually make sense. and you have flashcards to write out but then, you must retain the information on them. so, at 8pm you feel like a champ and at 4am your brain is so fried that when you turn on a lamp and it burns out and starts smoking, you dont think, "yikes, i need a new bulb"..you think, "oh my god, there's a ghost in the room" then you run around grabbing sheets off your bed and covering the mirrors in your room and pulling down all your shades.. lest the ghost who burned out your lightbulb should try to apparate in front of your tired, scholarly eyes. whats more ridiculous is that you find time to update your livejournal about your panic stricken- light- bulb- sixth sense- experience.
im still recovering from what turned out to be "asthmatic bronchitis" which is either asthma brought on by bronchitis, or bronchitis triggered by asthma. either way its kept me in my house, out of work, and luckily classes ended in early december or i would have missed them too. i got a note from the physician for work but i have a feeling they may not care. i'd hate to get fired over asthmatic bronchitis. we'll have to see what happens.
i am now the proud (and not at all embarrased by my nerdiness) owner of a wall-sized poster of pride and prejudice that i stalked poor chris couchon about for weeks. i saw it hanging in all of its 8ft by 4ft glory quite near the ceiling of the theater and decided it had to cover one of my walls in my bedroom. true, there's a 3 foot Keira Knightly on my wall, but its not near my bed so its not creepy. and besides, i can think of a lot worse things to look at than Keira Knightly. matt sleeps with posters of Evil Dead over his bed, i would say thats creepier
ok, enough. back to flashcards and ghost encounters.
