Snow(ish)
Yeah, I'm at work and I'm so caught up it's not even funny.
So, yesterday it snowed here. It was hilarious. An inch, maybe less, of snow. The schools closed early. They were closed today. There were over 400 hundred accidents in the Raleigh area. It took me 2 and a half hours to do a half hour drive. There were kids stranded at school OVERNIGHT! The radio this morning was talking about how treacherous the roads are. Yeah, so not true. They were dry! There was maybe a little icey/snow in unused parking lots. My work was apparently delayed until 11, but I didn't know that and came in at 8 anyway. Meh, whatever, I wouldn't want to miss out on 3 hours of pay anyway. It's ridiculous how much these people overreact. AND it might snow 2 inches tonight. TWO INCHES!! I may not have work tomorrow if that's true. And so, that's how the south handles the flurries.
I'm gonna leave work at 5 today instead of late and hopefully I'll get home before six so that I can actually get my Biology book that was delivered days ago from the office. Derek tried to get it yesterday, but the office closed early because of the snow. Yeah, that's really weird considering that everyone who works in the office lives in the development and could walk home if the snow was so bad they couldn't drive. I was very inconvenienced yesterday by this 'storm' as the news calls it.
Aaaaannnnd I got nothing else really. My mom is taking classes toward her BA (again). She got an A in her class last semester - she was really happy about that. She's all I've got a 4.0. It was funny. Tomorrow is my parent's anniversary. 22 years. They went to Atlantic City last week to celebrate. I forgot to buy them a card or something. I guess I can just call and say happy day or something. But, when they were in Atlantic City they saw some dude win 1.5 million dollars on the nickle slots. But they lost money - so they suck. And I am out of stuff to write about. And my hand's crampin' up. So I'm done. :)
