why do you hate the love?
I'm sick of people complaining about Vanentines day. "It's just a Hallmark get-rich-scheme." "Single awareness day." "The day for embarasment and saying no." That's bull. Valentine's Day is the day of love. Even if you dont' have a boyfriend or girlfriend, you can celebrate friendship right? Or be happy for other couples? Or maybe it'll give you a bit of courage to ask someone to be your valentine? There is nothing wrong with it. At all. And I'll force others to celebrate. It's my birthday, so lets party.
The one day of love we can appreciate. The only one. There should be a whole month and a half for this sort of thing! But there's only one. Ignore it if you must, I dont care what you do during it, jsut dont insult it to my face. Or where I can see it. I dont want to hear how you hate the love, no one does. So just shut up.
Maybe I'm just mad because it's my birthday. I probably wouldn't care about it if it wasn't. But I do. Maybe I'm a new Cupid, maybe I'll have a love of my own, or maybe I'm just here to defend it. If your feeling lonely because you dont have a significant other, call a friend, make popcorn, watch a movie, call more friends. It's not that bad and you know it.
I dont go around saying 'ew, Februrary second' or 'March 16, what a gross day' or insulting anyone's birthday for that matter. Have some respect! Valentine's day! You dont gotta love it, just respect it. No one hates Christmas but it's jsut as big on love as the 14th. Jesus being born to die and all. I hate this unfair prejudice. just leave it alone.
So I'm done with that. But it does annoy me. But anyway. I'll not complain anymore, though i could. I could rant about how my parents tell me not to show emotion, or how personal fitness tires me, or how I want to sleep till twelve in the afternoon but cant. But I wont.
