something to think about

I posted this on boc's journal too. Just some thoughts. I agree with being merciful, but we are also supposed to be the leaders, the rolemodels. We knew what we were doing was wrong and chose to do it. why are we letting this define our senior year? Lets be leaders - rise above this and gain the administration's respect again. Lets face it "life is not fair". But can we really say that what happened wasn't fair? When you look at all the poverty and abuse that happens in the world. Is it fair when a child is born with a birth defect. Is it fair when we loose one of our brothers, fathers, uncles in Iraq. Is it fair when a child is kidnapped, abused and murdered? These are the things in life that are not fair. The fact that we got in trouble for being stupid is unfortunate and is entirly our fault - not the administrations. They didn't by the alcohol, they didn't choose to carry on the "tradition" by drinking it. We chose to do it as a class, so we need to accept the responsibility as a class. There were some of us who chose not to drink but are still being punished. And to those we should say "thank you" for holding true to their values and being good rolemodels. But most of all we should say to each other and to ourselves that this will not be what the class of 06 is remember for. I think we can find something more meaningful to be remember for don't you?

who is this? i know it was our fault and i take responsibility for our classes actions and i think we should get in trouble. and i realize lifes not fair and we have to deal with it its just frustrating and i was trying to get it off my chest. its not just this- its other things our administration has pulled in the past and this just was another thing to add to the list.
