(no subject)
so. i'm back at Ship, and i'm happy to be here. my mom bought me curtains for christmas that i put up last night, and they are oh so beautiful. i was looking at pictures of me and my family on my first day here, and it really is amazing how i've managed to transform my room from the drab little jail cell it was into the cozy abode in which i currently reside.
break was nice, but i didn't get to see friends as much as i had hoped. my grandma has been in the hospital for the past 2 weeks, so i pretty much wanted to stay close to home, visit my grandparents, and help out with things. i did go down to the beach with dave and his friends for new years eve, which was awesome. new years day was not so great however, and i'm sure i would have enjoyed walking on the beach much more if standing up hadn't made me nauseous. oh well, you live, you puke, you learn.
i have two paper cuts on the pad of my index finger that i didn't notice until i started typing, which is peculiar since i am naturally a big baby about paper cuts. so, i shall stop typing now and go get a band-aid.
